Shen Buswell is an inventor and has been a Senior Research and Development and Process Engineer at Hewlett Packard (HP) Company, Inkjet Division Headquarter here in Corvallis, Oregon USA for 14 years where he has been applying TRIZ since 1998 to various Hi-Tech products/processes working with Hi Tech/leading edge technologies including FAB advanced thin film technology, new thermal inkjet print head on silicon chip, Piezo, Sensor, Medical Devices, MEMs, and Nano technology, product, process design and development. Also, expert in the subjects such as advanced semiconductor wafer FAB processes for Inkjet print head and MEMs manufacturing and advanced Silicon micromachining technologies including: Electro Discharge Machining, Electro Chemical Machining, Electro Beam Machining, Dry/Wet Etching, Advanced LASER Machining, Abrasive Machining, Ultrasonic Impact Grinding, etc…An expert in Finite Element Analysis, he has developed a road map that combines analytical thinking with TRIZ and subject experts to effectively break physiological inertia to think outside the box and effectively generate new product ideas and come up effective new solutions to various industrial/commercial problems while without TRIZ, often proven to be a very difficult task to break the mental barrier.
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, USA where he reveived his Bachelor and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and also completed two more years advanced course work towards a PHD before joining HP as an Engineer in 1994.
He holds US patents (four Trade Secrets at HP) in the field of Hi Tech semiconductor micro chip and advanced process design and development with more filed and currently pending.
